Corn & Cod Designs is a needlepoint designer based in Hyannis Port, MA, specializing in detailed canvases inspired by sea and soil. Having grown up on Cape Cod, owner and principal designer, Sam Wilson, takes great pride in his commitment to the local community and the New England way of life. From sun-soaked summer days on the water, to whiteout winter wonderlands, Sam calls upon his life as a Cape Codder for every one of his needlepoint designs.

 

Although his creations are inspired by sea and soil, Sam’s artistic verve comes from the love, support and encouragement he received from his mom, Elizabeth (Liz) Mumford – a staple of the Cape Cod artistic community until her passing in 2020 after a long battle with cancer.
